On April 2, 2012, I started a journey to not only lose weight, but to get fit.
The motivation? A trip to Maui in June. My goal, to lose 10lbs and tone up.
I had no idea how successful I would be and I really owe it to the great workouts, encouraging instructors and fun I had at Warrior Fitness.
I started the Advocare 10-day Cleanse on April 2nd and started working out 3-4 days a week. I lost 7lbs on the cleanse and it was the jump start I needed for my journey to be successful.
The cleanse re-taught me how to properly “feed my body.” It enabled me to continue to eat delicious food, but to do it in a healthier way.
Now, here I am, over one year later and the true excitment comes from knowing I have surpassed not only with weight loss goals but my fitness ones as well. In July 2013 I entered the bod pod at 115.5lbs and measured 14.8% body fat, which equated to about 98lbs of lean mass.
To sum it up, I have lost four dress sizes, I went from a size 6 to a 00 and I am in the best shape I have ever been.
I am often asked is this is the only workout I do? The answer is “YES!” Warrior Fitness is it, it’s a true, full body workout!
